| Please have each group member consult with their doctor or the local health department before making the journey to Haiti. They may recommend certain immunizations and preventive medicines. It is up to the group or individual to determine which of these medical treatments to take. However, we do recommend that each person have a current tetanus shot. Many of our groups take Chloroquine as a Malaria preventative.
