Travel Arrangements |
| Each team makes its own travel arrangements to and from Port-au-Prince, Haiti. Flights to the capital city are limited, so most groups fly on American Airlines. It is important to confirm the dates of your trip with Sonlight's staff prior to purchasing airline tickets. If you want to change tickets at a later date, please contact Sonlight before altering tickets. Sonlight arranges for all in-country transportation, including round-trip air travel from Port-au-Prince to Port-de-Paix. |

TRAVEL DOCUMENTS
Each member of your group must have an up-to-date passport. Passport applications are available at your local post office or on-line at www.usps.com/passport/. Please allow 6-8 weeks when ordering passports to ensure delivery in time for departure.
You do not need to apply to the Haitian Consulate for a visa. Haiti tourist visas are provided to visitors during the flight from Miami to Port-au-Prince. The visa is a simple form that asks for your name, US address, passport and flight numbers, purpose of travel, and the address where you'll stay while in Haiti. The address to list is as follows:
